Located in proximity to the Gare du Nord - one of Brussels three main train stations - the Husa Park Hotel is easily reachable by train, plain and with the city's metro line.

GETTING THERE FROM BRUSSELS AIRPORT:

By Public Transport

By public transit, the best option from the airport to the hotel is by train. Trains from the airport to the city centre of Brussels cost around EUR 5,20 for one way and depart every 10-20 minutes (depending on your arrival time). Tickets for the train can be bought at the airport. Just follow the grey train signs that can be found in the arrival hall of the airport. The trains leave on floor -1 of the airport. Get off the train at Bruxelles-Gare du Nord station. The train will take approximately 20 minutes.

 

 By Taxi

 

The simplest means of transportation is by taxi. Taxis are available in front of the Arrival Hall.  

The taxi cost will be approximately EUR 30-35 (depending on your arrival time and traffic), and it will take approximately 25 minutes. It is recommended to use the licensed taxis which can be recognized by the blue and yellow emblem

 

 

GETTING THERE BY TRAIN:

If you get to Brussels by train the easiest is to get off at Gare du Nord. From there you are within walking distance of Husa Park.

 

If your train only stops at Gare du Midi you have to take the metro from there on. Line 4 (direction Gare du Nord) will take you directly to Gare du Nord. From there it is just a few hundred meters to Husa Park (see above map).

 

If your train stops only at Gare Centraal take the metro lines 1 (direction Gare de l'Ouest) or 5 (direction Erasme) and get of at De Brouckere. There you can change to line 4 (direction Gare du Nord). Get off at Gare du Nord; from there you can walk to Husa Park (see above map).

AROUND HUSA PARK:

The ATM closest to Husa Park can be found at the Gare du Nord.

From Husa Park it is only three stops with the metro (line 4 direction Stalle) to Brussels old city centre (get off at metro station Bourse) with the grand place - one of Europe's finest historic squares - at the heart of it. The area around the metro station Rogier is one of Brussels main shopping areas and is within walking distance of Husa Park. In this area as well as in the old city entre also a number of bars and restaurants can be found. More exclusive shops and boutiques can be found at Avenue Louise (metro stop Louise). Also some of Brussels most famous museums as the Musees Royaux des Beaux-Art or the Magritte Museum are easily reachable by public transport from Husa Park.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT IN BRUSSELS:

Tickets for the metro can be obtained at ticket machines that can be found in any metro station. Please be aware that they take only coins or credit cards for a Belgian account. At the bigger metro stations tickets can also be bought at a ticket booth. A one-ride ticket is called single ticket JUMP but it is also possible to buy a ticket for several journeys or one valid for a whole day. Please find below the most common tickets and the according fares:

  •  single ticket JUMP: 1,80 €
  •  card for 5 journeys JUMP : 7,30€
  •  card for 10 journeys JUMP: 12,30 €
  •  1-day card JUMP : 4,50€

The "1-day card" may be used on STIB vehicles as much as you like and when you wish during the same day.

The price per km is 1,23 € or 2,46 € depending on whether the journey is inside or outside the 19 districts of Brussels. There is also a fixed charge of 2,40 € (4,40 € at night).
